Production Manager

Seeking a full-time production assistant to oversee Men’s & Women’s products. This position will support the management of domestic and overseas production. Experience working across a variety of brands is desired.

  • Ability to calculates all COGS and confirm acceptable margin
  • Initiates purchase orders to vendors and supervise them until product hits the DC
  • Strong printed goods experience and understanding of blank suppliers
  • Efficient with the dye process’ and can problem solve to get best end result of color or technique
  • Organize and manage WIP for all responsible products
  • Responsibility for product development and photo samples
  • Help on all development and inventory on trims
  • Problem solves all production related issues
  • Works with domestic and overseas vendors
  • Logistics of apparel in development, production and coordination to talent
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by manager
  • Works well independently
  • Local vendor travel as needed

Graphic Apparel Designer

Seeking a full-time graphic designer to help concept & execute graphics to be implemented across categories including tees, fleece, headwear, accessories and other miscellany.  Experience working across a variety of brands is desired.

  • Execute graphics and prints in line with the vision for various apparel brands under the GCg umbrella
  • Market & trend research to create on trend graphics and prints
  • Conceptualize and design screen tee & fleece silhouettes
  • Build and engineer patterns in repeat and full tech to apply across all categories
  • Create and maintain graphic technical specification art matrices for all styles
  • Design / Create into identified opportunities as architected in the range as well as bring consumer relevant ideas and concepts to the table
  • Work closely with development in reviewing prototypes, strike offs, and submits for approval for all categories from design concept to production
  • Ensure that all design, artwork, prints, and fabrics for sourcing are sent in correct format with all correct technical specification information to suppliers

2 – 5 Years

Production Coordinator

We’re on the hunt to find an Apparel Production Coordinator to oversee Men’s & Women’s products. This position will support the management of domestic and overseas production. Experience working across a variety of brands is desired

Sourcing & Development

  • Work with various manufacturers to find the right fit for current and future projects
  • Source and follow-up with manufacturers for sample development and photo sample needs.
  • Work to maintain margin goals by establishing target costs and communicate these targets to suppliers
  • Evaluate and develop garment to determine spec, grade, construction, fit intent and design aesthetic. Handle all fittings and make comments.
  • Identify potential production, quality, costing and design issues and make appropriate recommendations.

Purchasing & Production

  • Ability to fully own all categories, seeing designs through original concept to production completion
  • Coordinate purchasing of all blank goods, insuring we are getting best price and we are hitting timelines needed so suppliers have enough time to turn goods.
  • Setting up new blank accounts and negotiate product costs, deliveries and terms
  • Maintain and manage timelines communicated to hit photo shoots, production in 3PL and POD programs.
  • Maintain accurate excel records including but not limited to Time and Action Sheets, Line Plans, and Costing Sheets. All CMR’s are to be accurate and complete with in a week production arrives/ships
  • Handle trim developments for samples and production. Work closely with trim supplier and negotiate costs / lead-times. Keep accurate counts on all trims and place fill in orders as necessary.
  • Establish and maintain product development processes that enable a smooth flow from the submission of tech packs to the approval of samples.
  • Work closely with Suppliers on the Time and Action calendar to ensure that all the goods meet delivery and quality standards.
  • PO’s for all POD programs need to be turned to vendors 2 hours after campaign ends.

Data Integrity

  • Manage product/catalog descriptions assuring all text is correct and hand off to Ecomm.
  • Distribute proper UPC and Sku info to suppliers.
  • Understands the Photo shoot timelines. Coordinates with factory to receive photo samples (& talent samples) on time – reviews with design and forwards photo shoot sample comments to all suppliers.
  • Maintain records and documentation of all production related activities. This includes maintaining ongoing Production WIP report sent out weekly internally and to vendors.
  • Maintain Suppliers account information to ensure accurate billing, delivery and product distribution. Sign off all related vendor invoices.

Senior Graphic Designer (Apparel) // Merch Division

Our ideal candidate is part brand designer, part campaign director, and part production artist. You should have a deep passion for typography, photography, motion graphics, and layout and thrive with a variety of creative assignments. This role will balance work for product launches, campaigns, and programs to help visually advance our product assortment.  Experience working across a variety of projects is desired.
